In a hidden grove past the barbed wire fence, a small dam was built. Working as a family, each stone was passed, one by one, until the project was complete. Sometimes it would take minutes of work, other days it could take hours. After many years of harsh weather and the change of seasons the dam that was built, perished into the stream. For years it lay resting under the mud and soil, yet the memory of the family bond never faded.

This endurance and durational  piece explored the memories of carrying those stones and the tiredness which connects them. The bricks and stones that are used in the performance are the original building blocks used to form the dam, which still bring back memories when touched.

The performance was 12 hours and 39 minutes long, at the Kingsway Campus, White Box (CKW 059).
