High up in the terraced house loft, an old dusty box was found containing a single audio tape. It tells the story of when Roland used to work as an apprentice electrician at Madeley Colliery. It is the only recording left of his voice.

The recording is 12 minutes and 39 seconds.
​
For this piece, the artist listened to the recording continuously; slowly learning the story and geographical elements hidden within. By doing this, he became more aware of the storytelling craft being passed on through the generations.
​
The work took place outside the Kingsway LRC (ground floor library), between 2-4pm.
